Education stages can be divided into preschool, elementary school, middle school, and college. Studies show that students begin to own laptops in college and preschools put their emphasis on experimental learning via teaching tools. Therefore, the design will be meant for elementary school students and high school students and to fit well into their learning environments.

We collect charging carts on the market and categorize them using cross analysis. After considering our target users, we decided to position our product in the yellow zone. We will try to win the favor of our target users with the product’s simple, soft, and warm image.

EUC charging cart takes “Circle” as the design factor. Round design ensures the teaching safety for students and provide friendly learning environment. Also, “Circle” has the image of unlimited cycle that also expresses the unlimited learning possibility.

The wire box at the cart side can save the space and it is convenient to organize and avoid the danger of pulling wires. The build-in handle save the space and aluminum increases the quality feeling.

Each device will fit in a partition. Apart from supporting and separating the devices, these partitions are also equipped with a cable management system that fixes the cables in an organized way. Users can use one hand to move the slide buckle to fix cables; the cart matches power cables ranging from 3 mm to 6 mm.

The handle is made of extruded aluminum. The cone shape and the step in the surface create an excellent non-slip feel and provides a quality texture. The concaved and asymmetrical design reduces the space the cart occupies and makes it easier to move.

The charging cart will have 36 transformers and devices running within when operating at full capacity, so heat dissipation is an issue that needs to be dealt with. We employ passive cooling and the temperature is regulated via heat convection.
